Snoring Cures – Causes and Snoring Remedies

What causes snoring?

Snoring sound is produced when an obstruction to the flow of air through the passages exist in the back of the mouth and nose. This is the part that can block the airway where the tongue and upper throat match the soft palate and uvula. When these structures collide with one another and there is a vibration during breathing, snoring is generated. The grunts have at least one of the following problems:

A loose muscles allow the tongue to fall backwards into the airway, or throat muscles collapse while you’re sleeping. This happens when the person’s muscle tone is relaxed by alcohol, drugs or drugs that cause drowsiness. But it also occurs in some people when they are relaxed in deep sleep stages.

This explains why some people snore only during spring (pollen allergies) or when they suffer a cold or sinusitis. The term “deviated septum” is commonly used to define a deformity inside the nose.

Can snoring be cured?

We can generally say that snoring cures is available for snorers. For adults who are snoring occasionally, the following home remedies can work.

1. Avoid a sedentary lifestyle and exercise daily to improve muscle tone and lose weight.
2. Avoid the use of tranquilizers, sleeping pills and antihistamines before bedtime.
3. Do not consume alcohol within 3 hours of bedtime.
4. Do not eat heavy meals 3 hours before bedtime.
5. Avoid excessive fatigue and maintaining regular sleep patterns.
6. Sleep on your side.
7. Place the bed tilted, raising the head, if possible with a couple of bricks.

The big snorers, those who snore in any position, they need more help. When the snoring becomes uncomfortable for the snorer and his family, medical care is essential. Those who snore loudly should undergo a medical examination of your nose, mouth, palate, throat and neck. In some cases, they can try a surgical solution by reducing the size of the mouth and throat in order to facilitate the passage of air. In severe cases a tracheotomy is needed to create a pathway for the flow of air passes the throat.
