Sleep disorders can affect more than just your mornings. Some sleep disorders can result it significant illnesses, such as weight gain and digestive problems, increased risk of developing high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke. Sleep disorders are classified based on what cause them. Primary sleep disorders are distinguished from those that are not caused by other mental disorders, prescription medications, substance abuse, or medical conditions.

Sleep disorders are more common than you might think. There are many people who suffer from one of these problems such as insomnia, snoring or a cervical problem, which are most common in most people. Insomnia is the difficulty for a person to fall asleep or to maintain it. It is a common cause for fatigue and sleepiness during the day and become difficult for the individual to pay attention whether at school, college or at work.

Insomnia can manifest initially at a young age, however it can affect both teens or adults. Insomnia can be transient that last a short period of time and be related to a particular event, such as stress or use a pillow incorrectly. It may be chronic that take a long time and persist for months, caused by another medical problem.

In any case, sleep becomes fragmented and has low quality, causing people to feel very tired or weak the next morning because they could not sleep well, and therefore not have the energy they need for their daily activities and is working in his office or studying in the college or university, or other activities such as sports or housework.

Doctors and specialists warning people suffering from sleep disorders and snoring to avoid products that affect the nervous system such as alcohol, sedatives and narcotics. Doctors also recommended for people trying to use orthopedic pillow.
