Relaxing Herbs List
Poppy
Properties against irritability, insomnia and nervousness.
Use: 1 tablespoon poppy seeds, boiled in a cup of water for 5 min. Let stand 15 min. Combined with Passion Flower and Chamomile.
Dosage: Take 3 cups a day.
Lemon Verbena
Calming, tonic stomach, treat flatulence, palpitations, dizziness, nervousness and anxiety.
Boiled in 1 liter of water. Let stand 15 min and goes through the strainer.
(Combines with melissa, thyme, lemon)
Dosage: Take 2 or 3 glasses a day.
Lavender
Properties against anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, irritability, headache.
Flowers are boiled in 2 liters of water. Let stand 15 min.
Dosage: Prepare a bath and pour the tea. You have to be undisturbed for more than half an hour, to feel more relaxed.
Balm
Properties against anxiety, headaches, calms nerves, aids digestion.
Use 1 tablespoon of flowers with 1 cup water, boiled for 5 min. And let it stand for 15 min. Passed through the sieve.
(Combined with Tila, White Sauce, divided equally)
Dosage: Take 3 cups a day after meals.
Parsley
Properties on stress, anti-aging, anti-oxidant, anti-anemic, anti-bad breath, controls the sugar in diabetics, gas, flatulence, urinary retention.
Dosage: Take two cups a day.
Valerian
Properties against sleep disorders, nervous disorders, anxiety, neuralgia, epileptic, antihysteric, sudorific, diuretic.
Infusions made with roots and placed in water. Boil 5 minutes and let stand overnight.
Dosage: Take 2 cups a day, one afternoon or one at night.
Verbena
Properties against heart palpitations, gastritis and headaches of nervous origin.
Use 1 tablespoon of dried flowers in 1 cup boiling water for 5 min. And let it stand for 15 min. Passed through the sieve.
Dosage: Take 3 cups a day.
